音楽プロデューサーとしてHIP HOP / R&Bを中心に数多くの作品を生み出す。ポピュラリティーを重んじつつも常に海外の音楽シーンとの時差を感じさせないプロダクツは、保守的な日本の音楽シーンの中にあって独自の存在感を放っている。'02年には安室奈美恵の転機となる"Suite Chic"を企画・発案。'03年にはチャリティープロジェクト『VOICE OF LOVE』のプロデュースにより、国際NGOを介してフィリピン・ガーナへの学校建設・楽器のプレゼントなど音楽を通しての社会貢献も。また、ZEEBRA・DJ KEN-BOとのプロデュースユニット『FIRSTKALS』とMTVによるオーディションプログラム『STAR TOUR』など、裏方としてのプロデュースワークの更なる可能性を追求。'04年にはMTVビデオミュージックアワードでプレゼンターも務める。2005年レコーディングスタジオ"Studio Vision"開設とともに、プロダクション機能の向上と次世代アーティストの育成を目指し、個人での活動が中心だったタイニーボイスプロダクションを組織化。'05年には同プロダクションのプロデューサーMine-Changが手掛けるBENNIE Kが『dreamland』大ヒット。'08年にはdouble&安室奈美恵との強力タッグ楽曲『Black Diamond』をプロデュース。同年、安室奈美恵のベスト盤『Best Fiction』にも楽曲を提供。また、UTA・MANABOON・USK-TRAKといったこれからの時代を担う若手トラックメイカーの発掘も精力的に努め、UTAはAI・EXILE・倖田來未・青山テルマなどへ、MANABOONがHOME MADE家族・加藤ミリヤ・浦田直也などへ楽曲提供し、現在最も注目される若手プロデューサーとして今最も注目されている。'09年以降は、アーティストの育成や自身のソロアーティスト活動への準備、そしてよりグローバルな視点での音楽制作を目指し、更に活動の幅を広げている。5月には新レーベル『nano rebel』を設立し、第１弾アーティストTEEのリリースに向け奔走中。

Born and raised in Japan by his parents, both classic musicians, Ryosuke Imai began listening jazz and soul tunes at his early age, which would forever alter the course of his life. By the time he was in high school, he was much affected by HIPHOP (very few Japanese listened to HIPHOP at this time) that he started making track. On the other hand, he started working at a record company because he knew he had to be concerned in the business aspects of the industry in order to get his big success.

The streak of recognition had begun right away. In 1995, his very first track was released as a compilation album under the editorship of UNITED FUTURE ORGANIZATION. This track also released from TALKIN' LOUD LABEL in UK. Once he began to develop his own original tracks and production skills, his life quickly evolved into Japanese HIPHOP and R&B albums. And in 1998, one of his great producing works is released. This single is called ﾒshakeﾓ by female vocal group ﾒdoubleﾓ, which has been sold a million copies in Japan by now.

Ryosuke has risen to the very top of his profession with great mixture of music skills from world of R&B, HIPHOP, jazz and soul by now. His versatility allows him to be an effective hitmaker for artists. He can easily move from the newer younger divas to HIPHOP group. When SISQO was in Japan and listened to one of Ryosukeﾕs works called "TAKE IT SLOW" by F.O.H., he praised Ryosuke to the skies. This fact shows us that his music skills and sounds are ready to be expanded in the world, and there is no doubt he will succeed in the world music scene soon.
