ハワイで生まれ、高校からLAへ。多感な時期にブラックミュージックの影響を多大に受ける。16歳からラップ、そしてトラックメイクを始める。アメリカと日本でラッパーとしてライブをこなし、STREETシーンへ数々のトラック・楽曲を提供。高校時代にハワイで知り合ったHI-BRIDZ（ex.JtoS)のSUNNY BOYを通じて、今井了介に出会い、現在は活動の拠点を東京に移す。HIPHOP・クラブミュージックがバックグラウンドゆえのトラックメイクは、国籍・言語を問わない世界標準型。

State-Of-Da-Art is an Japanese-American music producer, composer, arranger, and rapper based in Tokyo, Japan. He was born and raised in Hawaii until he moved to Los Angeles when he was in High School. As a teenager, he was greatly influenced by Hip Hop/Rap/R&B. At the age of 16, he started to rap and make beats. As a rapper, he performed many live performances in the U.S. and Japan. Also, he started to develop interest in music production where he produced beats for the Hip Hop/R&B street scene in Japan. State-Of-Da-Art gained Imai Ryousuke's attention through his friendship with Sunny Boy (Tinyvoice Production). After graduating college, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to pursue his musical career. State-Of-Da-Art's music consists of hip hop, club music, and combines different aspects of both western and Japanese music styles. His music is world standard type, which breaks the language and cultural barriers.
