State-Of-Da-Art is an Japanese-American music producer, composer, arranger, and rapper based in Tokyo, Japan. He was born and raised in Hawaii until he moved to Los Angeles when he was in High School. As a teenager, he was greatly influenced by Hip Hop/Rap/R&B. At the age of 16, he started to rap and make beats. As a rapper, he performed many live performances in the U.S. and Japan. Also, he started to develop interest in music production where he produced beats for the Hip Hop/R&B street scene in Japan. State-Of-Da-Art gained Imai Ryousuke's attention through his friendship with Sunny Boy (Tinyvoice Production). After graduating college, he moved to Tokyo, Japan to pursue his musical career. State-Of-Da-Art's music consists of hip hop, club music, and combines different aspects of both western and Japanese music styles. His music is world standard type, which breaks the language and cultural barriers.
